Tokusatsu" – the miniature sets, props and various other special effects for the likes of Godzilla, Ultraman etc. Full of people (too many for my comfort – I hate the feeling of being trapped in a cluster of slow-moving people in large exhibitions) and full of sample props, costumes, sketches etc. The final miniature set of a destroyed Tokyo was popular and fun. On the way to the exhibition, a local street had a scarecrow competition on display – perhaps more evidence of Japan's love of characters? Below, a poster for the show on the street of scarecrows.
